Next Wave Seafood respects our veterans, and we are pleased to share an honor that has been bestowed to our CEO and leader Gary Werner by the Quilts of Valor Foundation.
Founded by Catherine Roberts, the mother of a deployed vet in Iraq, Quilts of Valor Foundation (QOVF) has been awarding quilts made with love to honor and comfort our veterans. Since November 2003, with the support of local sewers, quilt shops, and guilds, QOVF has had the honor to award over 225,000 quilts.
Quilts of Valor Foundation has selected Gary to receive a quilt for his service to our country. The quilts were on display late November and early December 2020 at the Horry County Museum in Conway, SC.
